Pearl is a feral cat that was trapped on Old South Pearl Street in Denver. She was near term pregnancy when trapped. Dr David Schulman spayed Pearl and was able to save her three kittens with the help of clinic staff who rubbed the kittens and kept them warm until they started breathing on their own after 45 minutes. Pearl was spared from putting her kittens in peril by having them born outside. They aren't out in the snow or rain struggling to stay warm and dry. These lucky little kittens were placed for adoption by Almost Home Adoptions for rescued cats, just one of the many rescue groups Animal Health Care Specialists helps by providing excellent veterinary care at affordable prices.
